This is a program designed to meet the needs and interests of individuals who are passionate about creating art and who want to explore and further develop their art making skills.

Strategies

  • Individuals become recognized as artists though both group and solo art shows in the community and in the ArtWorks Gallery
  • Professional artists create a supportive art studio environment, provide instruction and support participants to explore their own creative style, develop art making skills and create their own body of artwork

Activities

  • Artists work in a spacious art studio with a small library for reference and an art gallery 
  • Participants will learn about different materials and mediums 
  • Like artists in the community they are developing a portfolio of art that they are proud to show publicly and offer for sale
