Community Inclusion Programs

Our Pathways program provides an opportunity for individuals to age with dignity while receiving the necessary support as their needs evolve. In this vibrant and accessible space, participants can engage with old and new friends, partake in community activities, and make choices that align with their preferences. Pathways offers a diverse range of activities such as art classes, cooking workshops, yoga sessions, and reading opportunities. We prioritize our participants' well-being by conducting baseline cognitive assessments to detect potential changes associated with aging and dementia. By tailoring health supports based on these assessments, we ensure personalized care for all those we support.

Geriatrics Program

At Garth Homer Society, we believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Our mission is to provide adults with developmental disabilities a fulfilling life and a sense of belonging. Our Residential Services, centered around the beautiful heritage home, Heron House, in Victoria, offer round-the-clock support, home-cooked meals, and access to serene outdoor spaces.
