CARF Accreditation
Since the inception of The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in 2002, the Garth Homer Society has successfully been accredited by the commission. CARF is a private, non-profit organization that grew out of a need to promote quality programs for people with disabilities. Every three years, CARF surveyors visit us to see if we meet the standards for the employment and community services we provide.
Client Handbook
Our comprehensive handbook outlines key aspects of Community Inclusion, Geriatrics, Learning and Employment, and Residential Services. By offering this resource, we aim to give individuals a better understanding of our offerings and what to expect, allowing them to make choices that best suit their needs. During the intake process, we provide a copy of this handbook and guide individuals through its contents, ensuring a personalized and supportive experience as they explore the various services we offer.
