Manager | LifeStreams
Permanent | Full-Time
LifeStreams is an innovative learning program available to all Garth Homer Society clients, designed to create opportunities and learning experiences they may not have access to in their regular supports. Rooted in experiential learning and community connection, LifeStreams supports people in increasing their independence and autonomy. The program offers individualized, one-to-one support to help clients build confidence, independence, and practical life skills through hands-on, project-based learning. This position works closely with the CEO, Executive Director, and senior management to further develop and deliver the LifeStreams Learning Program and integrate this service with other programs of the GHS Centre for Learning and Employment. We are seeking a committed, skilled professional to join our team and help enhance the quality of life and opportunities for the participants we proudly serve.
Community Support Worker | COSMOS Program
1 Temporary | 1 Permanent | Part-Time
COSMOS supports young individuals on the autism spectrum with highly individualized programming, flexible activities, and tailored transition plans. The program provides a safe, nurturing environment with a sensory room and structured routines. In these positions you will support inclusion, offer emotional support, and coordinate placements while monitoring progress. Handle emergencies, collaborate with caregivers and agencies, and ensure health and safety standards. Administer medications, assist with personal care, and guide support staff.
Vocational Counsellor | LifeStreams
Temporary | Full-Time
LifeStreams Learning provides individually tailored learning strategies, social development, and job placement opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. The LifeStreams Learning Vocational Counsellor will support individuals to identify, pursue, and achieve their goals.
