Community Support Worker | COSMOS Program
1 Temporary | 1 Permanent | Part-Time
COSMOS supports young individuals on the autism spectrum with highly individualized programming, flexible activities, and tailored transition plans. The program provides a safe, nurturing environment with a sensory room and structured routines. In these positions you will support inclusion, offer emotional support, and coordinate placements while monitoring progress. Handle emergencies, collaborate with caregivers and agencies, and ensure health and safety standards. Administer medications, assist with personal care, and guide support staff.
Community Support Worker | Community Inclusion Programs
Casual
The Community Inclusion Team provides essential support to individuals with complex developmental disabilities, helping them build meaningful connections and thrive in their communities. Our dedicated staff offer personalized assistance with communication, behavior, personal care, and social interaction. In this role, you’ll support the well-being, independence, and community inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities through personalized, activity-based support. You’ll facilitate emotional, social, and life skills development, provide personal care when needed, and respond effectively to emergencies.
Community Support Worker | Discovery Program
Permanent | Part-Time (30 hours/week)
The Discovery team emphasizes developing social and communication skills through visual cues, verbal prompts, and structured activities. The program includes sign language and music therapy, promoting health and wellness through diverse recreational and community activities. In this dynamic role, you will assess participants’ strengths and needs, providing skill training and creating opportunities for independence and community inclusion. You will focus on recreation, music, and creative arts within Team Discovery, while also seeking community-based social, recreational, and learning opportunities.
